New Release Round Up - July 27th

Boardgame Round-up

This week we have a new reprint of Tales of the Arabian Night by Z-Man games. We've been waiting for a reprint of this for a while and it certainly delivers. Set in the land of Sindbad and Alli Babba the players travel the land seeking fame and fortune. The game itself is a mix between a choose your own adventure and a board game. For example when you encounter a beggar you decide what you want to do, roll some dice and then turn to a paragraph in the Tales book and see what happens. The artwork and components have been extremely well put together and add to the rich theme of the Arabian Nights setting.

RPG Round-up

This week sees two new Pathfinder supplements. First up is Qadira: Gateway to the East, which describes the country of Qadira and its capital of Katheer - the city of a million caravans and also includes new feats and traits for players and handy articles on the area for DMs. Also for Pathfinder there's Beyond the Vault of Souls, where Magical soul gems have been stolen from the secret vault of the goddess of death and scattered across the planes. Can the PCs retrieve them before a god of oblivion is summoned? Beyond the Vault of Souls is an adventure for 9th level Pathfinder characters.

Continuing with the dungeon-related theme. Pazio have also released the
Flip Mat Dungeon as part of their popular 'Flip Mat' series - a complete dungeon laid out over a huge double-sided tactical map. (Compatible with dry or wet erase pens.) The various locales of this dungeon match the Pathfinder module: Crypt of the Everflame.

Lastly on the RPG round-up for this week, Hero games provide a collection of no less than
15 adventures for Pulp HERO, which also includes notes on creating your own expeditions into the unknown.

Miniatures Round-up

The popular Wings of War game now has 12 World War 2 miniatures to add to the series. Spitfires, Messerschmitt 109s, Wildcats and Zeros in several different paint schemes have been released. Each comes with its own manoeuvre deck and a transparent stand that allows you to set the height of your fighter. Along with the recently released players mats, these miniatures will transform the look of your Wings at War games.

Lastly
Mosterpocalypse bring you there third strategy guide for their popular collectible miniatures game. The All your Base Strategy guide coincides with the release of the third wave of miniatures. So if you need tips on your units and more information on the new monsters this book will deliver.
