Fred distribution have released Railways of England and Wales by Martin Wallace. This railway game has two sets of rules as it can be played stand alone or as an expansion to the Railways of the World game. Players vie to be the first railway baron in England using typical railway game mechanics. Its a heavy game but 18xx players should have no problems. If you play Railways of the World its a worthwhile expansion giving you more value and some lovely components.

The cards are placed in a 5 x 5 grid and players must use lesser creatures to flip and swap these cards to align them in order to summon larger and larger creatures. Its a fun filler game that is bursting with Cthulhu Mythos.
